RGO Products Ltd. “RGO” is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Accounts Receivable cash application processing
  • Monthly analysis and journal entries
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts
  • Bank reconciliations & entries
  • Month-end closing and management reports
  • Full cycle accounting for holding companies
  • GST & PST calculations, preparation & filing of returns
  • Fixed assets tracking and depreciation calculation
  • Administrative tasks as required


  • Minimum 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience is required
  • Accounting or Business Administration post-secondary education and working towards a CPA designation is an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 with advanced Excel skills and willing to learn RGO’s proprietary software programs
  • QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics experience an asset
  • Initiative and ability to think critically and act logically in evaluating situations and generating required steps to ensure success for stakeholders
  • Self-starter/motivated, resourceful with high attention to detail and technically orientated
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking, logical analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • High ethical standards
  • Successful criminal record check is required

Work Environment

Work is in an office setting. Normally work 8 hours/day but overtime is often required at month end, in late winter and early spring for year-end processes.
